Hey all, how are you?

Well... perhaps not all... or perhaps just me... visiting this blog. It is my 'baby' after all. The original creator of this blog. Right now, it is taken care of by Mel...

Right, back to the topic. Between the start of 2010 till now (10 April 2010), it has been exactly 100 days since we went separate ways. How many of you still hold dearly the memories of 2008 and 2009? .. Can't remember those two years? Well, I (still) do. Those happy, exciting, disappointing, sad and many other emotional moments still linger in my head whenever I look at our class photos. By the way, it's the Buddy Shot tat prompts me to write this post. Of course, one of the trigger points was that I used the photo as a reference to show to my current class (6ED) what a Buddy Shot is like. My pupils (your juniors) had taken the class photo recently on Thursday. I'm waiting excitedly for the photos... you know how precious the photo is to them (and me) - it's the last class photo shoot before they graduate.

Another trigger point was the sighting of you going to school. Yes, I SAW many of you, in your new uniform, walking to school/going home on several occasions. Let's recap...

most recent, ZJ (cycling to school along Blk 630), Joey (walking to bus stop along Blk 680 & crossing the road fr Blk 718 to the Station), Cecilia (ahem, not so nice, jaywalking from Blk 708/9 to Blk 667), Ming Liang (along Blk 713 where the Bball court is), LYZ (same location as Ming Liang), Taffy (too many occasions, sometimes waiting for traffic light at Blk 714, walking home along Blk 713, fetching younger brother after sch...), Farisha (talked to her at ADMPS carpark) and Ain (2 occasions at ADMPS carpark as well)... and several more, just slipped off my mind.

Time really flies and you guys have embarked on a new journey. Life in secondary school may have been fun and definitely, you had those challenging moments. Nevertheless, persevere and do what's right. Do not get distracted and you should do fine. To excel, you must of course put in more effort/hardwork than your peers. Am I nagging again?... hahaha.... I guess it's just my personality. I know everyone of you will do just fine, no matter where you are, how you are.

The past 100 days isn't the only transition period for you. I had experienced changes as well (and still experiencing it). A new year, a new class of course (hey, we went through thick and thin in 2008 and 2009, and now we have gone separate ways, I have new batch of pupils under my care). Can't really share much about my new class since it's only a few months that we have got together. You guys have your good points, and my current 6ED pupils have their strengths as well. Your juniors are truly one talented batch and I'm still getting to know them. Oh, they have created a class blog by themselves too (impressive!). As usual, I'm constantly shaping their attitudes towards studies and develop them into capable and morally upright individuals (Im sure they can surely epitomise what you guys have achieved, and perhaps better).

As for me, sadly, my panda eyes remain uncurable. Haha... Getting busier as the days go by. Discipline issues are daily affairs (fortunately, my form and banded classes are rather cooperative thus far). Getting more query regarding my 'happiness'. Oh, your juniors can't believe my favourite cartoon character is Tweety Bird. Hmm... I think most people find it unbelieveable. Nevermind, it's my perference.

Sigh... there are so many things that I want to share but can't seem to group them together. Things like... oh yes, LYZ's sister is my pupil now (Sci and MA banded class)... Coincidental?.. haha.. perhaps. Marcus's cousin is in my Form class and CCA (Scout)... hoho... interesting. The world is rather small, if you were to say.

I'm tired... it's been a while since I had such lengthy posting. Well, just want to link back to the subject title '100 days', although we have parted and gone on with our current life, the bonding/spirit of 5RS2008/6RS2009 will remain. How strong it will be depends on how well we keep it going (meet-ups, chit chat on MSN/HP, etc).

As usual, I shall end it off with 'BE HAPPY. SMILE ALWAYS'. Wish you the best in whatever you do. Stay healthy, stay happy.

Warmest regards,
Mr. A. T
