(Term 3 Wk 3, 13/7 - 17/7)
I'm stuck with the usual greetings. How else should I start a posting? Can't think of any idea so shall begin with the usual. I guess I'm facing mental block.
HELLO. Guess everyone is fine over the weekend.
Nothing in particular for Week 3. The usual routine of work, work and WORK! Haha. There was perhaps the height and weight measurement taking exercise. The growth in some of you was simply awesome. Very soon, I will be dethroned as the tallest person in the class! (let's hope I can hold on to this crown till the end of the year. :>)
Oh yes, coming up in Week 4. Early dismissal on Monday at 12p.m. On Tuesday, we celebrate Racial Harmony Day 2009. Yup, this is your very last RH Day celebration in ADMPS. You must always remember the purpose of RH Day celebration - celebrating the unique Singapore racial mixes living harmoniously together. Wow, we do are proud of interacting, learning and playing together pretty well. Everyone has a part to play but it's the ability to do it so well that bond us so well together. Looking forward to Tuesday.
Almost forgot about the subject title. Well, the longest solar eclipse of this century will happen on the 22 July 2009. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passing between the Sun and Earth, thus blocking the view of the Sun from us. During the solar eclipse, the sky will turn dark even in the bright morning. However, in Singapore, due to our geographical location, we will only experience partial darkness during 8.41 a.m to 9.44 a.m, where the peak period of darkness happening at 9.11 a.m. (quoted from Reader Digest) Well well, we will probably in the classroom having our lesson. :> Don't worry if we can't catch it. The media will probably reports it the very next day through newspaper, news in TV, over the Internet.
So much for this week's posting. Work to be done? Yes there is.
