(Term 3 Wk 1, 29/6 - 3/7)

Welcome back to school everyone!

Wow, term 3 has started pretty fast. You are now in the final lap of your P6 year. I'm almost running out of content for this class blog... Not exactly though, I feel that there is always something there for me to tell you. As for this posting, I've thought of the gist...

Have you ever encounter moments when things just don't seem to go the way you want them to be? I'm sure you do, no matter in the past, present or future. You get irritated, frustrated or even confused why certain things are done in the particular way. No matter how important or trivial the problem can be, you complain, grumble and behave in manners that you usually don't. What's exactly is the problem?

Fear not, everyone faces such experience every now and then in life. We can't tell when the difficult times are... we can't run away from them if they fall onto us... what can we do?

So now comes the title of this posting. Always look on the bright side of life! Yes, you live your own life and you choose how you want it to be. You must be optimistic! There are always two sides to a coin. If you don't like one side of the coin, you can choose to look at the other side. Example, you can complain and grumble about all the school work, it will not do you any good, in fact, you become a grumpy person and you don't feel happy. Why don't you look at the school work from another perspective - the better perspective. Do your very best in all the school work given. They will help you prepare for PSLE --> score to the secondary school you want to go --> your future.

In short, look at things/matters/situations positively! I know it's not easy but you must do it. It's the best way to handle all matters. Always look on the bright side! :>

Woo.... i sound like nagging again with this lengthy post. Well, look on the bright side, the expiry date for my nagging is Nov 2009. Afterwhich, you are free from it! (hahha... sad but true)

Alright, back to business. Although school has started, lessons have been disrupted - everyone stays in the form for all subjects, except MT lessons. Nevertheless, you embark on your revisions. We don't waste time now. We use time wisely. It's only a few months left. Furthermore, you get a holiday on coming Monday. I've given you work to do (form class 6RS - see below). For those in the banded class of 6RS (MA & SCI), continue with your own reivison. You can see me during school hours if you need clarification. Revise well!

Work to do for the weekend
1. EL - Practice Paper 9
2. MA - Reinforcement Paper 1
3. Journal - Why must I be optimistic?

Hmmm.... rest well everyone. Take care of your health as well.

6 RS 'oh Nine (:
