What comes to your mind with the title above?

Most of you will probably link it to the June Holidays. Well so, that's the main idea. As I type this posting at this very moment, 28 June 2009, it marks the last day of the June Holidays. What significance does it bring? This depends on every individual - everyone is different (living a different life compared to others), thus experiencing your very own holidays. I am no less similar to you. :>

Regardless how you spent your holidays, one thing is for sure (at least now)... School REOPENS tomorrow! We could have meet earlier for lessons but the concern for H1N1 was too great that our study camp was put off. It IS still tentatively put off... awaiting for the situation to be better managed and controlled.

This brings about the next idea to the posting's title. I hope, I think everyone as well, that the H1N1 issue can come to an end. This very much depends on everyone's effort to keep the virus at bay. You can read everywhere (online, tv, prints) on how you can maintain high standard of personal hygiene - wash your hand thoroughly, sneezing with a piece of tissue paper etc etc. I will go through these again when school reopens.

Not to forget that your PSLE exams are coming, lessons will resume tomorrow and kick start My P6 Years: Part II. This isn't a movie title ... but your real life. Can't wait for school to start. I shall see you in school.

Important Things to bring:
- Travel Declaration Form (parents to complete and sign)
- thermometer/ temperature log card (if you still have it)
- report book (those who have not submitted)

Please note that you are to bring all the necessary books for lessons as well. Those things stated above are IMPORTANT things that you MUST bring to school.

Ok. Rest well. See you.

Oh... Be happy.... Must Smile always. (haha)

Hi all, as of now, you should have received a call from me (except one of you, will try reaching you again) regarding next week P6 study camp. It is CANCELLED - meaning you do NOT report to school during the last week of June Holidays (week 4).

You shall continue with your own revision. Check your email account at www.lead.com.sg for any any updates or further instructions.

Till further notice, take care and revise well.

PS: If you intend to travel overseas soon, please keep the school informed.

(2009 June Holidays) - Part 1

HELLO everyone! How have you been? You have just experienced the 2nd week of the June Holidays and I believe you have spent it wisely.

1. Are you worn out after 14 fun-filled days?

Symptoms
include experiencing at least one of the followings: (playing computer/psp/ps3/gameboy/etc games, sports - running/swimming/basketball/soccer, going for holidays - short trips to M'sia/chalets/overseas/etc, watching movies, having fun at friends'/relatives' homes) The list is simply endless. You have spent 26 422 min on your game console.

2. Or, have you been having a great rest?

Symptoms
include ... sleeping like there's no tomorrow. You wake up and see the clocking striking 1p.m. or even later. You start to forget the meaning of breakfast. Your parents/grandparents/alarm clock starts to have no effect in waking you up. Your world moves 26 442 sec slower than others.

3. Perhaps, you have been enjoying life?

Symptoms
include ... eating your favourite food every now and then. You visit MacD/KFC/Pizza Hut/ Swedsen/Bubble Tea outlets more than you visit your house toilets. You also make more trips to game arcade centres than you usually do in a year. You have eaten the 26 422th burger in your life. You fill in the arcade centre address as your home address. Maplestory 2 becomes a subject to you. You finally see your family members more often than you see your teachers. You forget how I look like.

4. But... maybe... you couldn't find joy in this holidays...

Symptoms
include ... You are stuck at home. You miss your friends. You miss the class whiteboard. You are doing revisions - worksheets, tuitions, assessment books etc. You are doing more revisions. You are doing even more revisions. You wish the number of worksheets/pages of work that you are doing can turn into money because there are simply too many of them! You have completed 26 422 pages of work. You forget the name of the person seated beside you in the class. Of course... you miss my naggings.

No matter HOW or WHAT you are feeling, I'm here to pull you back.

I know most of you have been faithfully doing some revisions during these few days of break. However, it's time that you should step up the gear and get going further. For those who have been enjoying yourself (which is me!), let's get started hard at the revision. For those who have been doing work (i hope there is some play or fun that you have engaged in), continue with the hard work AND look after your health.

I will be back in school in week 3 (that's tomorrow) to help out in the P6 bridging programmes for some of your friends. I will be doing the PSLE booklets too - you better start working on them so that in week 4, you are ready for the study camp and revisions prepared by the schools (hmm, can you smell more mock exams coming up?)

I had my rest for the past week and though I've been doing some work, I'm going to work even harder. So do you! I've lost count on the running down of the days to PSLE. Can someone please update on this blog.

Before I end off... I will share 2 pics that I have taken at the place that I took my rest. Rest assured this is not the last post in this June Holidays. More postings coming up... when I have the time. :>

Remember to keep fit by exercising regularly. My jogging regime is starting soon too. Keep fit and stay Healthy. Smile always and be Happy! ;>
