(Term 2 Wk 9, 18/5 - 22/5)

"Yo... Can you see me?"

"Look closer."

"I SAID LOOK CLOSER!"

"CAN YOU SEE ME!?!"

Oops... I think you can see me now.
Hi, I am Loss. No... I mean my name is Loss.
Errr.. Yes, I'm LOST.
My owner dropped me on the ground without realising
he/she had lost me. Sigh...
Fortunately, the writer of this blog found me
along the way to Recess on Friday.

Are you at a loss (like the Loss above) after learning your SA1 results? Hmm, you shouldn't be. In fact, you should be planning on what you must do to improve. Whether you've done well or not, you should look forward as the 'real' battle is only about 90 days (Oral & LC) and 120 days (Written papers) away.

As the wise man (hahaha...) has always said,

'Your days are numbered. Right now, everyone must work very hard as the real battle is only months away.'

Before you comment that you have heard the 'wise' sentence many times, you must agree that time is ticking away. Attitude for learning must be at the very best. I will NOT tolerate any misbehaviour at this critical period. Also, revision is in your own hands now (so is your future). Ok, enough 'nagging'.

The week's review:

Bravo! The long-awaited 1.6km run had been completed! Last Friday, the weather was brilliant - enough sunshine for you to burn your calories. All of you except those who were absent completed the 1.6km run. The buddy system went smoothly as well for the Resilien-ians and Respect-ians (names I give to pupils from RS and RP respectively). Still, running must be continued so that you remain fit and healthy.

"Hello everyone. Remember me?"

Mathematics: Congrats to those who have improved (Class Progress Award) their SA1 grades by a substantial margin, as well as the Top graders (Class Top Marks). I hoped the chocolates are as sweet as your achievements. Job well done. Don't rest on your laurels. Keep improving.

Coming up next: Area & Perimeter of Composite Figures.

Science: Congrats to those who have improved (Class Progress Award) their SA1 grades by a substantial margin, as well as the Top graders (Class Top Marks). I hoped the chocolates are as sweet as your achievements. Job well done. Don't rest on your laurels. Keep improving.

Coming up next: Science General Knowledge, 'Adaptations', PSLE Bklet

English: Congrats to those who have improved (Class Progress Award) their SA1 grades by a substantial margin, as well as the Top graders (Class Top Marks). I hoped the chocolates are as sweet as your achievements. Job well done. Don't rest on your laurels. Keep improving.

Deja Vu? Before you accuse me of 'copying' and 'pasting' the same words again, here's the add-on:

Congrats to 6RS (form class) Top 10! I hoped the chocolates are as sweet as your achievements. Job well done. Don't rest on your laurels. Keep improving. The rest must 'buck up'. If your friends can do it, so can you!

We'll continue with the TB teaching and learning. At the same time, grammar and vocabulary revision will be part of the routine too.

Weekend's work, check them out:

1) EL - Journal: "My P6 Year (Part 2) - Studies, Family & Friends, and Future (till Nov '09)"
2) MA - TB Let's Pract 10a: Q1-4 (Sketch the figures before you solve for area/perimeter)
3) SCI - Science General Knowledge Bklet (look through)
4) Ez-link Card Top up
5) Character to the Core Bklet Endorsement by Parents

Have a good weekend! Smile!

(By the way, can someone shed any light about the keychain 'LOSS'? I am clueless what character it is.)
