(Term 1 Wk 5, 2/2 - 6/2)

Good day everyone!

Blow wind blow! Blow those who can remember the name of all the six solids! Can you do it? Well, I hope you can remember the name of the solids, the number of faces they can have, as well as the shapes of the faces. These are the concepts taught in Nets (MA). Blow wind blow was the activity that we had during lessons to help you recall the properties of each solid and react to the instructions given by the game master (that's me!). I believe you had enjoyed the activity and if we have time, we can play it again. Say hi to the solids below! (ps: there's a quiz at the end of this post on Nets)

As for EL, we had read the passage on the imaginative world where dinosaurs and humans came together. We know it's not possible now but well, it is an imaginative world after all. We also did Listening Comprehension, Synthesis & Transformation ... ... and also a composition writing. It was a busy week, don't you think?

As my hands rest on the keyboard (potential energy), I slowly move the fingers (kinetic energy) and begin typing this post. Hmm, I've just shown you an example on the conversion of energy. Bear in mind that energy is not created but instead, it can be stored, used up or converted. Can you recall the different types of energy?
