This week is indeed filled with fun, joy, victory and to some, disappointment. I've so many thoughts right now that I do not know where I should begin.
Alright, let's start with classroom learning. Revision has started for the subjects. A new topic was revealed in English - teaching us the danger of fire. We had also done the concept mapping for the Science topics - Using Electricity Safely & Wisely. I believe what struck you the most could be the 'Restaurant Game' which enabled us to go through the topic on Percentage. Everyone had the chance to role play as 'Waiter/Waitress', 'Boss' and 'Customers'. Selecting what to eat/drink, jotting down orders, calculating 7% GST and checking if the calculation is correct using a calculator - these were the key actions done during the game. I hope you've enjoyed the game and remember the key concepts of Percentage.

Moving on from the classroom learning, we also had our celebration for National Day at Woodlands Stadium. The two events that most of you had participated were the Costume Race and the Time Bomb Race. There was victorious joy that I will congratulate again - those who won the medals, the effort you've put in, the teamwork that was shown - *Clap, *Clap, *Clap!
The event was also marred by an incident that I hope all those who were involved and awared, to learn to be gracious and forgiving. I see it as part of your growing up - life is full of achievements as well as disappointments. Pick up from where you fall (or where you did not do so well), move on and improve. Therefore, I must reiterate that 'Winning is not everything. Sportsmanship is the key'.
Ok, I shall let the pictures & videos do the 'talking'. Enjoy.
