(Term 2 Week 2, 24/3 - 28/3)

Well well well. I hope everyone is having a good rest now. Once again week 2 of Term 2 had gone by pretty fast and we also had our learning journey to Little India. I found it a very wonderful experience, even though I have been there several times. I believe some of you, who just went there for the very first time, find the trip enriching and eye-opening as well. Well, do remember what you have learnt about Indian culture so that you can share with your friends/family.

I shall begin with the work to be done over the weekend and going to include some pictures that I have taken during the trip to Little India.

Weekend work:
  1. Maths: Fraction (2) Diagnostic Test 1 (WS)
  2. EL: Journal
  3. Art: Prepare recycled materials (Bring on Tues Art lesson)

Reminder:

  1. Poster design for Earth's Day: You can start to design a poster for Earth's Day. The deadline is coming Friday 4th Apr. That means you can design and colour the poster and submit anytime in the next week. (It is to be done during your own free time)
  2. Recycled materials: You are to begin to collect recycled materials (such as newspaper, plastic bottle and many others) to create a sculpture that you can use it. (Eg. Handphone holder, pencils holder, flower pots)
Pictures taken during the trip to Little India.

"Garlands! Garlands. Anyone?"

Sunday, March 2, 2008

It's over! Yes, boys and girls, the class tests have ended. For the upcoming week, you will be getting back the papers.

I have said it in the class; YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO DECIDE HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL. There will be relief or dissappointment. Whatever the results, you will know how much you have learnt. DO NOT BE DISHEARTED. Reflect and think about the change you want to see in yourself. Write down the plan on how you want to further improve yourself. Work towards it. See me if you need further help.

"Nobody is more responsible to help you change for the better, other than you YOURSELF."

Alright, I've said enough. Here's the work for this weekend.

  1. EL: Journal Writing (Freestyle OR The Change I want to see in Myself)
  2. EL: English AB (pg32)
  3. Sci: "From Parents to Young" Topical WS (2)

Good rest and I will see everyone on Monday. :>
